Randy Keisler has been named the starter against the Pirates on Tuesday. Keisler will be taking Carpenters spot in the rotation, at least for now. This means that Carp will likely be heading to the DL, retroactive to his last start back on opening night. We'll post any news on Carp as it comes in.
Edit: Kinda vague for now Carpenter has arthritis and a mild elbow "impingement" Not sure if this should make us feel better or not. So he'll just have to rest and have some therapy for a few days. He'll be put on the DL.
