Here we go again
Or should I say here THEY go again. As Justin mentioned below Prior won't start the season with the big boys, and now SI is reporting that Kerry Wood is being shut down for a certain time. The article talks about it being a "minor" setback. The only problem with that....it's the same excuse that Cubs fans have been hearing for YEARS now about these two. I would keep an eye on these guys in fantasy leagues. I'm not sure how much help Prior will be, but I'm convinced that if...and that is a HUGE if, Wood can stay healthy he can be one of the best closers in the game and could come at a steal in most drafts.

woods - buy low...way low. prior...pass on the dude. as much as i don't like the cubs, i wish these guys would show up for a season to make for some better competition. if these guys would ever come around, those cubbies would start looking like a competitive team again...until they're stuck with an old, lazy offense in a couple of years.
