This thursday, the st. louis cardinals will kick the tires and send out the ol' trusty isringhausen. after a couple of solid sessions pitching to hitter, izzy now feels comfortable enough to step back onto the mound.
i'm not hoping for too much, i'm just hoping that izzy doesn't think too much about mechanics - i just want him to get out there and pitch without discomfort and pain. i don't even care if he gives up some base hits.
we need you old boy. bring us home on thursday.
