For the first time since he blew a save in Sept, Jason Isringhausen threw a mere 24 pitches to live hitters yesterday with some encouraging results. They say his pitches looked decent at least, just missing some command that should be expected since he hasn't thrown to live hitters since that fateful game. Perhaps the best news, Izzy reported no pain in his hip!!! Even with his high ERA last year he was a solid fantasy closer with 33 saves. Might end up going lower then usual in the drafts thanks to that hip so he could be a sleeper pick.
